Seriously. Seriously. You must make this. It’s a gluten free/paleo and primal friendly bowl of comfort. Even when it’s 91* out.

I just really wanted cereal or oatmeal or something you can eat with a spoon. Saw the recipe on Carrots N’ Cake and I made a few adaptations.



What I did:

  • 1/2 cup egg whites
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1/4 cup mashed banana
  • cinnamon (to taste)
  • blueberries (as much as you want)
  •  sunbutter (a little on the spoon so you can mix it in…)
  • almond milk (I used it like you would put milk on oatmeal. Just a bit to finish it)

Combine egg whites, banana and flax and mix well. Pour into a nonstick pan and scramble until cooked. Transfer to bowl. Add toppings. Mine came to 170 calories before the Sunbutter (which I didn’t measure), and 14.5g protein.

Dang it. I am going to need more egg whites now!
