CSF meets CSA: Striped bass and kale

Quickest dinner ever: fish on the grill pan and a quick saute of kale and portabello mushrooms with tamari. Striped bass isn’t a common fish for us to receive in our CSF share, so we were a little surprised. Michael brushed each with a little olive oil and topped with salt and pepper. These took about 15 minutes on the cast iron grill pan.

Into the nonstick pan, I added 1 1/2 heads of kale, washed and cut into ribbons, along with the rest of the mushrooms we had. I added black pepper, a healthy pinch of thyme (mushrooms and thyme are so married), and a drizzle of tamari. Done, done and done.
